my friends forced me to get facebook yesterday.
Problem is I only have 36 friends and my friends have heaps!! So please ADD ME ALREADY!!!

i'm gonna hit 30.. and I've avoided facebook/myspace like stanky poon figuring it was for high school girls, but it seems that more and more older folk are getting into it... I'm contemplating it.
What is the benefit of joining?

Yeah I don't sign onto it regularily like it seems a lot of people do. I just go on there when I have a message waiting.
It is cool at first to see people you haven't seen in a while and catch up. After that, it's basically just another email application. Can't hurt to sign up though.

I didn't feel like joining facebook either but I have about 200 photos that my friends refused to send me to force me to join facebook!!
That and the fact it's the main organization tool for going out dancing.

I do a google search for my last name + facebook and I get 3 polish websites, that's it. I have a sister and 2 cousins on, everyone with privacy settings so you don't see shit.
I go to facebook and try the same thing with their search. Nothing.

I hate facebook, too many fake people. All most of them want is to say they have 10 000 friends.
I was on it for a week or two, and people came out of no where acting like we are such good friends.
Maybe i am just a bitter and unsociable person but if any of them reallly gave a rats ass, im sure i would have seen them once or twice since highschool (my little town only has 30 000 people).
There is a reason i haven't seen them in 10 years, and i would like to keep it that way..lol
