I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

My dad called me to tell me about this, so I got to watch it. Basically the only things your average person would get from watching this show:
1. POKER IS ILLEGAL
2. SUPERUSERS ARE OUT THERE, THEY'LL TAKE YOUR MONEYS
3. POKER IS STILL ILLEGAL
A buddy of mine that used to play poker online called me up about five minutes after the story aired. He said something like, "See, George, this is why I stopped playing poker. It's obvious it's rigged."
I mean it DOES make you think, but jeezus, talk about a biased point of view. (not that I wasn't expecting that)

Every time I get dealt AA or KK, I raise and every one folds. Obviously, every one can see my hole cards.

Some on the comments tilt me for sure, but most are on our side. Including:

For a news company that spent four months research a story, at least you could have gotten your basic facts straight. Poker is legal in both Canada and the US. If you take a look at the UIGEA, in the US it is illegal for banks to process credit card transactions from gambling companies. It is really a shame that you are going to broadcast this to a nation with such a poorly researched and wrongly negative view of online poker. I had high hopes for this interview that it would help shame the companies at fault and make the industry safer as a whole. Shame on you, CBS.

Was this from someone on FTR? My feelings exactly.

whats up with the retards that are crying about getting cheated? Do they really think that this is the outlet that will get the results they want? Do they want online poker to remain on the ban list? Do they want to scare all the fish away?
