Toadstool will become famous soon enough
I'm going to America with a friend for a month and we are just going to explore. I just found out eralier that you have to be 21 to drink beer and get into pubs/clubs there!?

I'm 19 and from the U.K where its only 18 to drink and go to clubs

Will this be a problem?

What states?

It's 21 to drink in every state in the US; however, in some states (TX for ex) you can get into establishments where the bar and dance floor area are seperate if you are only 18.

Just show your UK drivers licence at the door, most of the bouncers won't be able to do the math to figure out your too young.

just be cool and you may just glide right in.

and where in the USA are you going?

yes, it'll be a problem if you want to go to a bar. Getting a fake is an option.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

WTF, who doesn't know its 21 to drink in USA even if you are from UK. I'm also from UK - it's a widely known fact.

You aint goin to get served anywhere dude so I wouldn't even bother trying and if you do manage to get hold of booze somehow I' d recommend staying indoors.

My mate got busted twice for being drunk while he was in a mates car (19 at the time) - not driving obviously - they got pulled over. Now thats harsh! It would never happen in UK

Yea trying to sneak into bars probably wouldn't be a very wise idea...you might want to postpone the trip for 2 years.

I have a fake and I am from canada (drinking age 19/18) the fake works beautifully in the states but you'll need some sort of id to get in anywhere. Props on the being able to buy alcohol in grocery and convenience stores though.

Seconded, was there during spring break, since your under 21 with no fake I highly recomend it. The clubs are full of gorgeous american girls which would be my only motivation for going anyway. Beachs are nice to lie on to get over hang overs as well!
