I C, so this is the modus operandi
makes sense, the old fashioned drop a trojan combined with the human element
just do not accept executables or rars from anyone on your pokar computer and you'll be fine.
a better idea would be to not have anything but poker related apps (meaning poker clients, poker tracker, ms office) on your poker computer
if you really really must execute an unknown exe, use it within Sandboxie

Ugh... I hope this should re-iterate why you should never run an .EXE from anyone unless you are 100% sure it's from a person that you trust.
This stunk from the first time he tried to send you a "Database file" and it was an exe... Database files should NEVER be an exe... Trust your antivirus when it says something like this...jeez.

Heres the easy way to do a whole DB:

Follow the start bit and do an export of your hands. Then zip them up and upload them somewhere.
Exported HHs will go to /Program Files/RVG Software/Holdem Manager/HandHistoryExport_HoldemManager
If you just want a certain number of hands you can just go to...well anywhere in HM that shows you those hands and use the right click menu to "export all" and they go to the same location. For instance for one friend I did a report and filtered by "did not see showdown" and extracted all of them, and with another I just extracted a few sessions using the sessions tab for him to review.
The extracted files are just plain .txt files, no need to even zip them if you dont want to, just easier that way.

Will? is that not your MSN address? How did this guy know I had just added you to my AIM, or is it just coincidence that he added me the same day? There is something wrong with all of this still, and you may still have an issue with this guy.

and also, I'd recommend you to get a computer just for your poker shenanigans, no other unnecessary apps (Like MSN, that damn thing is just a security breach waiting to happen) on it whatsoever
You can get complete and quite powerful systems new for like $600~$800 nowadays, unthinkable a few years back years back.
thats justa few buyins Jyms. Back in the day, any good computer you would have to fork $3K for it
