Short-Long Term Goals for 2011

Okay, i got back into playing on PS. my buddy sent $10 to my account 2 days ago to get me rolling. These first 10 games that i have played have had their ups and downs, but as of right now i have came in 1st in 3, 3rd in 3, and out of the money in 4 $1+.20 1table SnGs. my game has gotten better since i joined the forums, much thanks for that. Now, onto the goals.

If i can keep my bank roll $10+ while at these low stakes, i will hopefully be able to get my roll to 150+ by the end of the month. thats the first goal.

right now im playing 1 table at a time, but when i reach $15 i plan to start 2 tabling. then 30 start 3 tabling. at 50 i will move up to $2 SnGs and go from there.

how are my goals looking? should i aim higher or lower? are my progressions looking good, or should i change them up in a way?

what changes suggest you? thats why im asking, this is a rough idea, i need to get places, figured up some short term goals. for this month.

yeah i would deposit more, but i cant from this state. plus, im flat broke.

and star, ive noticed that its really really stupid, but as long as i keep goin up a few a day, ill get outta this soon enough.

if i could get more money in my account, i would, but in order to do so im going to have to get the money up to put in the bank (which could take forever), put it in paypal and wait a few days for it to clear, send it to a friend out of state and wait 5 days or so, then wait for him to put it in his account, then wait 10 days for it to clear on his account so he can player transfer. long and retarded process.

Just sayin because I speak from experience. My first ever deposit was $50 on Cake where I played the $1+.20 SNGs. I hated it and I remember thinking there's got to be a better way to build my bankroll. Once I was up to around $120ish, I moved over to cash and never looked back. I've probably played less than 20 tourneys since. Anyway, yeah the 20% rake sucks horse cock but if you've got limited funds then there's not much you can do. GL and don't donk the roll!

yeah i hate these 1+.20 SnGs. if i can just grind it out and get my roll up just a bit im gettin away from them. higher SnGs will be a lot more profitable because there will HOPEFULLY be less fish. im tired of sitting at a table with 5 fish thatll suck out on me. 1-2 fish at a table would be so much better.

Slight revision to the goals. at $30 i plan on going up to $2 1table SnGs rather then at $50. i think 15 BIs would be good enough, and hopefully will encounter somewhat better players and not deal with as many fish. if this is true, i should get rollin pretty quick. but i had a bad run for a few and im at about $5 now... got sucked out on in 3 tourneys in a row by people that should NOT have been anywhere near the hands. my KK got beat by 10 3os, my QQ got beat by A7os cause he hit a A-5 straight..., and then my AA got beat by 83os... this is crazy.

so if i can get my roll back up im gunna get as far away from 1+.20 SnGs as i can and never look back..

i just wish i had money to just stop playing them right now and go up to at least 3+.40 games. i need to figure out 50 bucks and have a friend player transfer it to me through that stupid long process. only problem is figuring out 50 bucks haha

Okay, so a new update for this. A person i have played poker with is thinking of staking me at $50 on FTP. if he agrees to it, the structure would be 20 $5 1 table SnGs on FTP with a split on winnings of 50/50 or 55/45 in his favor. i have never really played SnGs on FTP, or anything besides freerolls for that matter. in your guys opinion, which is a better place to play on those stakes? FTP or PS? im used to PS cause thats what ive been playing for a bit now. but if he is only willing to do it through FTP, im guessing i would be going to that. thought i would ask to see what you guys thought. and also, this is my first real stake, is that structured pretty well?
