I've decided that starting Friday, I am going to embark on a 15 game SNG journey. The goal here is not to win money, as much as it is to sharpen my skills. I have no concern whether or not I win these games, so long as I gain what I'm looking for.

SNGs 1 through 5, I will play exactly like my previous "No Calling" Experiment. I will play the game hyper aggressively, and eliminate all calling. This is to hone aggression.

SNGs 6-10, I will play blind. I will block off my cards so that I cannot see them, and play position and tells only. Basically the point is to hone my ability to read other players bets and use the power of my position to steal pots more or less without a showdown.

SNGs 11-15 I think will be the hardest, but I'm going to play every flop that I can see for less than 2 BB, regardless of position, as well as making the standard raises. The goal here is to try and outplay my opponents postflop and sharpen that skill.

After every game, I will post the edited history in the Tournament Forum, and share my insights, as well as consider all comments.

I think it will be a great experience. I'm probably throwing my money away here, but I think if I can sharpen these skills, when I pull the whole thing back together, I should be able to take my game up a step.

Thanks guys. You'll start seeing results probably Saturday. Too much going on in life for too much poker at the moment.

If anyone else has any other ideas for unique ways to play that will help sharpen certain skills, let me know. I might incorporate them.

Varies. Anywhere from 5 + .50 to 30 + 3, depending on how I'm running. Definitely cheapies for this operation.

I actually played one Saturday, and Absolute kind of ate my hand histories. I haven't played any tourneys since, so I'm going to see if I can pull teh results today. We'll see.
