I want to be playing 1/2 limit in a couple months, so I need a BR of 600 in 60 days. Thats my plan. Right now I am building my BR and gaining lots of experience my bonus whoring for jeff. In my first 477 hands, here are my stats: VPIP: 21.89 PFR: 8.60 Agression - oFlop: 2.59 oTurn:1.50 oRover: 1.71 Total: 1.96 Coldcalls: 0 Went to SD: 32.58 W$SD: 30.23 BB/100: -16.50 (ouch) Total BB: -77 (ouuch) Of course there must be leaks, but I do think I have not gotten the best of cards (it is not even 500 hands). I think I need to continue getting about the same numbers just with more wins at showdown and a positive BB/100. |

Must get tighter, must get tighter. I'm at ~16.5 for the last several days (500 hands or so), so I'm getting better. I'm trying to get my overall down from something horrible like 24%. I need a lot more hands of tight play to make up for how loose I was in the beginning (I love how PokerTraker can track your learning curve, too!). |

Some hints for you to start tightening up more: Stop playing Qxs. Dont play this hand unless all 10 players are in the flop and you are on the button. Still call if on SB though, as per usual. These suited hands will drain a lot of money out of you. Stop playing your small PP (22-66) from Early Position, its still okay to call with them from MP though. Don't play these hands from LP if no one else is in the pot. If you are the CO or the button, you can try to blind steal, but otherwise fold. You want a lot of players to see the flop so when you actually do hit your set, you can build the pot up quite nicely. These are actually the easiest to play. Stop check/calling down to the river with these also in multiway pots. Chances are, if there is 1 bettor and 1 caller, one of them usually has a higher pair than you; it is not worth the extra bet, as the pot is usually small in this case. Stop playing weak broadway cards like KTo from early position. I saw you raise with KTo from middle position, thats VERY aggressive, in a loose game, just call. KTo and QJo are very easily dominated and if you play these hands from EP and a person on your left raises you, theres a chance you are already dominated. You'll get a feel when you should play these hands the more you play them. Make sure you connected cards are suited as well, before you play them. |

up to the minute stats! : 975 Hands 22.36 VPIP amount won -5.08 (-10BB) BB/100 = -1.04 WtoSD 33.81 W$@SD = 40.0 PFR = 9.44 Agg = 2.23 i made alot of my initial loss back, and i KNOW my post flop play is getting better. |

today i played alot and made some money (i'm in the black now!) 520 Hands 18.46 VPIP Amount won $16 (32 BB) 5.13 BB/100 went to SD 43, W$SD, 48 PFR 11.35 2.31 Average Agg F 2.21 T 3.16 R 1.84 numbers are improving and so are the results. |

Both of you are retards....especially Boondock. Went to showdown is the percentage of how often you go to showdown if you see the flop. Won at showdown is the perentage you actually won at showdown when you do see a showdown. It looks like you are taking too many hands to the river and showing them down and not giving them up when you are beat. You do that, and your W$SD will increase too. |

these are the stats from my first 1,837 hands that i have loaded into PT. VPIP: 18.89 PFR: 9.53% Amout lost: $1.59 BB/100: -.17 Agression: 2.01 Went to showdown: 40% Won at showdowm: 42% Lots of hands, but no real profit, which I don't think is bad if i am clearing a bonus. The good news is PT has me default rated as an eagle now that I have my agression above 2, which I am still trying to get higher. |

these are the numbers from all my .5/1 games so far: 587 hands vpip: 23 PFR: 13.63 Amount won: $109 BB/11: 18.57 Went to SD%: 47 Won $ at SD%: 51.22 Att to Steal Blinds: 31% Steal Success: Ww/oSD%: 69% W$SD%: 50% Agression: F 3.5 T 2.5 R 1.65 Total: 2.58 the looseness i ascribe to some full games that went shorthanded when i was too lazy to change tables. i KNOW that is way too high for a full ring game. |

I am going to college tomorrow, which means a different computer, which means this data won't be kept up anymore. Here are my stats from 1/2 on Interpoker. Hands 1196 VPIP: 22.58 PFR: 11.29 Agression F: 4.75 T: 3.8 R: 2.6 Total: 3.74 Amount won: $118.50 bb/100: 4.95 Went to SD: 47% Won $ at SD: 52.50 The high VPIP and the good showdowns numbers I think are because I had a really nice runof cards in the middle 500 hands or so. I am doing much better and I know I have improved significantly since I started this thread a little over two weeks ago. In terms of BR, I am about halfway to my goal in half the time expected. |

| operation is finished! i just won a random $10 limit SNG to put me at $621 in 24 days. My goal was 60 days, which was far surpassed. I had been playing some 1/2 to clear some bonuses, so this won't be my first taste of it, but it feels better to have the BR for it. | |||
