Achieved the GoldStar, woot!

Going to take a bit of a break from 50nl...

Just lost 3 stacks in 5mins.

One was a cooler, one was a complete spew, and the other I stationed away

@ Illfavor: Yeah, I could easily just keep playing through but I think I'm going to make sure I'm not on temporary tilt when I do. I'm thinking about working on multi-tabling anyway at the quarter, and hopefully work my way up to 15 tables to get the hourly rate going/get lots of hands in/get more experience faster etc.

@ JK and Boog: yes, I am a goldfish :/

The experience you get from multitabling doesn't compare to the experience you get from having the time to put your opponents on accurate ranges and thinking through your decisions. I think the best thing you gain from multitabling is more stats on regs.

If you can still beat the game for 5+ptbb/100 15 tabling then it's probably worth the earn, but understand that that's pretty much all you get out of it.

Yeah good point dev.

I'm probably going to watch a few more videos over the next couple days to get me thinking a bit.

I got a good sleep last night, I ate a good meal today, and I got some exercise. Overall I've been getting better at life, and as a result, playing better.

I reviewed my session today and I realized that I played my best, yet I still lost money. Of course I did not play flawlessly - we can always improve.

The main point is, I still won today.

Overbets from Tag-fish regs are always the nuts.

This is somewhat of an x-post from the BC. Monthly results time:

Near the end of the month was pretty nasty. Got 2 outered 3 times for stacks, then decided to station off 2 buyins at 50nl for an extra $100 of spew. Graph is mostly 25nl with some other random stakes thrown in. Easily would have made an extra $200 if it weren't for being a jackass. I think I'm finally getting a grip though on what I need to do to get through small stakes. Pretty much just play good/don't get into pointless -ev reg wars, and keep up the study and review time.

Cash: $545.84
MTT's: $585.00
SNG's: +/- a couple $
FPPs: $70
Total: ~ $1200

So first >$1k month + attained GoldStar. This has definately been a good month for me, and is sort of a turning point in my poker career. I haven't really sorted out any goals for July, but as far as that goes I'll be aiming to renew GoldStar status. I might hold off on Platinum till I play 100nl.

Good job on the completion...

Thanks for the link, I WILL read it no question.
Hopefully you'll keep stopping in on the BC?

Hope the new level goes well.
