Hi,
Goal: To make $2000 (excluding bonuses) in 50NL/100NL by January 7, 2007.
A little background about myself, I started with $12 back in the day at Pokerroom, started playing their $5.50s midway through 2005. By 2006, I hadn't played too much, but had about $300 and decided to get serious. I bought SNGPT and began to play the $11s. Eventually though a mix of bonus whoring and improving my game, I moved up to the $16s, and then the $27s and finally the $60s before I got bored of SNGs. I then made the switch to cash, played some $50 to $200NL full ring, then changed to 6-max, and here I am today.
Right now I've got a decent roll - probably around $13,000, but I've decided I'm going to cash most of it out and put it into investments (on a side note if anyone has good advice about that, please PM me).
So the plan is to leave myself with around $3000 for 50NL/100NL 6max. I'm basically going to put in as many hands as I can each day (I'm hoping for 1500+). I know I've got tons of leaks in my game as well, so I'd like to spend at least an hour every day posting and reading hands.
I'll keep this updated daily.

I felt like I played OK today, although I definitely realize that my game needs a ton of work, specifically in terms of putting opponents on hands and not playing weak/tight.
Hands played so far: 2924
Profit: +$173

Just so you know, I've been reading your threads in the 6max hand review board. I'll be watching this operation as well. I'm learning a lot from you posting so keep up the great work!

Still missing bits of value here and there and not making certain laydowns where I know I should, but overall a solid day. I played mostly 50NL, with a bit of 100NL late at night.

Damn... these two days have been absolutely brutal in terms of beats, can't say I played perfectly either though. All I can do is just grind out the hands and keep studying the game though.

Today was an insane rollercoaster. At one point I was down 3 buyins, and then up 3 buyins, and finally ended $7 up. I feel like I'm running bad, but at the same time, my game unquestionably is pretty leaky. So for the moment, although I'm decently rolled for 100NL, I'm going to stay at 50NL until I can stop spewing postflop.

Hand of the day:
This was against a 45/25/1.6 that liked to call re-raises and was generally really aggro in reraised pots.

Happy New Year everyone!
I ran better today and made back a lot of what I had lost, but I still am finding myself lost in a lot of spots. After further thought, I need to force myself to stop being a wimp and move up to 100NL, as having 30+ buyins is definitely enough. Also, with the money meaning more, I will be more motivated to stop leaking away money and improve my game. I think I will move up when I make another $100 at 50NL.
