What do you mean a fresh Full Tilt account? Isn't that against their TOS?

It is a verified account in my own name. I just used a different deposit method and never use the previous account.

Things are going good, folded Aces on the flop yesterday which I havn't done before, I also got one outered before Suppose EV will sort its self out, as I'm running quite abit above.

+120Bonus cleared and 50RB

Changed my Goal,
Going to take shot at 50NL when bankroll hits $1750 which I need another $80 for.
Using 3buyin stoploss, will quickly drop down if I get crushed and continue grinding 25 taking shots at 50 when bankroll allows.

9.55bb/100.
Still nitting it up at 17.7/14.6

Went through my stoploss. Down 200ish over 3kish hands. Think I'll drop back to 25nl need some confidence back. Was only down like 50 in AIEV though. got 2outered and lost a couple races.

I noticed alot more squeezing and 3betting as well as general postflop aggression.
Will take another shot when bankroll at 1750 again.

This is the plan, whilst opening my 3betting range dramatically. And also 4betting. I was getting 3bet and squeezed with SCs even a few low suited jacks. So I'm assuming light 4betting chronic 3betters at 50nl is highly profitable?

I play 50NL and don't really see chronic 3bettors... not enough to start 4betting super light at least. I play on PS though, rarely play cash on FTP.

Maybe I was over exagerrating when I said chronic 3bettors. But There sure is alot more squeezing then I've seen at 25.

The size of the 4bet was to make it seem as though I wanted him to fold.
Over my last 30k hands, I think I've leveled myself BvB about 4times. I need to stop doing this. I have been AIPF versus marginal hands twice though, that been 99 and AJ. But I think I need much better reads to be doing this as I'm owning myself.

My default 3betting size is usually 3 when IP and 3.5 when OOP, I'm unsure why I opted for 3.5x but probably due to the guys previous play and that I can get more value from dominated hands that aren't folding. And make it easier to get stacks in with TPTK.
And the guy was a maniac, I'm calling to keep dominated hands in that may fold to a 5b.
I wouldn't be doing this against a reggier player.

Its not full pot, but my reasoning is to get as much value early in the hand.
My default bet sizing in a unreraised pot is usually just under full pot. Also because of the flop texture(no broadways) we will be getting floated alot, allowing us to get two streets of value.
The plan was to b/f the turn(if I didnt hit 2pair) and let the river go c/c.

1. I mean that 4bet size might be good with history but should definitely not be standard. No need to raise that much without a ton of history.

2. Yeah that's good then. Vs. regs. I would rarely go over 3x unless stack sizes/reads.

3. $1.75 is full pot. I very rarely bet full pot unless I know I can get huge value or history or something.

Opps, in hand 3 I thought u were referring to my flop bet. I agree I could open for 1.50 here and get the same result effectively.

i thought 10k hands at breakeven (if you were running neutral on AIEV), plus running bad and thus losing, plus not rolling super deep would impact on headspace - cos it would for me! if you're confident of your game etc then just start running good!!!

Booked a winning session for the first time in a while.
Finished ongame bonus, ran really really bad(+40 out of a 250dollar bonus). Withdrew SNG roll for some Real life shit.

Quick update if anyone wonders.

Having a break from cash cause it was starting to heart my brain.
Have been playing 12 and 26buck 135man rush SNGs for abit of a change.

Will be back to the grind soon enough though.

The above is a my little experiment at 135man rush and 90man ko tournaments. Abit of fun to mix it up I suppose.
Unfortunately alot of the upward bumps we're about 1/3rd of what they could have been(Alot of thirds compared to firsts).
Last 50 or so games were 45mans 5-26buckers. I think these would be the games I'd play if I was to play MTTSNGs.
I was planning on sticking to them until my roll had hit either 1000 or 2000. But after buying into a 26 during my set it left my roll with exactly 1300.00.
I'm not generally supersticious or anything but thought I'd call it quits there.
Funnily enough I got second in this, and if I had have won a 60/40 headsup it would have put me breakeven over my tournie adventure.
Along with alot of vital 70/30 flips holding at FTs, it could have actually been quite a profitable one.
I could imagine if you could last the variance 45ers would be a pretty quick way of building a bankroll, especially if you hit a upswing to start things off.
One day I'll prob dip back into them cause I feel theres lots of money to be had.



Anyway, Back at 25NL so far played 2k hands. Up 4 or so buyins.
I fucking love cash. Its actual poker, not shove/fold.
I cant remember the last time I actually had to play postflop.
Am psyched to get bankroll up before giving 50nl another shot.
I think I lost like 12ish buyins total during my 15k hands there.

6.5k hands in, up $220, above my EV by a couple buyins.
I have been running like god, its very good.
Figured out that if I potrait my 24'' monitor I can tile 8tables perfectly.
I usually play 6, but think 8 isn't much of a difference. Was mixing in 7 and 8 during todays session, shouldn't take to much to fulltime 8table.

Tableninja was a very good investment.

Ended up having a couple weeks of playing 45-90man SNGs and the variance done terrible things to my mind, so I pretty much quit poker and spent my remaining roll on real life shit.

Back at the tables, been broke in real life, and need some extra money desperately.
Want to buy a car, and go on a holiday and also having a supplementary income would be handy during my final year at uni.
I'm going to grind away at DoNs and STTs on euro sites utilizing the many kickbacks that are available and taking advantage of any +EV casino bonuses. Not playing cash nor do I want to attempt to become good at it.
This will be avenue I will go down if the US change the gambling laws and allow alot more fish to play.

The motivation for recording this blog is more of a worklog than anything else. I've played about 4000 sit n gos in my poker playing already and I know how much of a grind they are, but I don't mind considering the hourly is much better than anything I'm going to get in 'real life'.

My bonus spreadsheet is loaded with 10800usd worth of bonuses for a rake of 10200.
8-10 table stacking I can get in between 15 and 20 per hour.
Playing 11dollar SNGs theres between 500 to 680 hours worth of 'work'

Breakeven its 16 to 20 USD a hour.
with a 5% roi its 24 to 32 a hour.
at 7% roi its 27 to 36 a hour.

As opposed to my job at the moment, earning 11 a hour lol.

Anyhow I'll update once a week with a summary of what I've been upto and graphs etc if anyones interested:

On the 7th of January I deposited 100USD onto my moneybookers and this is my starting roll.

I finished my first kickback on the 11th for a profit of 34.50 and 110 in bonus for 50rake.
The site was Betfair poker on the Ongame network, I cleared the bonus via 5.50 dOns over 6.8hours.

I'm unsure of how significant the red line is with DoNs, but I definetly ran like shit in the 24 $11s I played. -64 as opposed to +19. Call me bubbleboy

Currently have a grinderschool account, watched Nakamuras DoN videos, and currently going through all of glitlrs. Think I'm going to move to normal STTs as DoNs are Gay and I now have over 100buyins for the 5.50s and therefore can tolerate normal SNG varaince. Running the SNGWIZ trial, which unfortunatley expires in 3weeks. I will definitely be purchasing it after this period.
