    that is gross miffed

yeah this is really weird. it's almost like they've stopped "looking into" DP abuse.

    wow those disconnects are cold/weak.

quick update for me, i played a couple sessions on some life-related tilt and dropped 2-3k
some flush over flush coolers and things that compounded it, but most was just bad play and i shoulda stopped earlier on.

i thought i'd learned to not play in bad moods. anyway i'll be back when i can play poker and do good again.
also going to focus less on results (ie checking my graph, cashier, etc so much).

Fwiw I reported at least four DP-abuses the last two weeks, and got the "good" response every time.

but then my heads would asplode every 600 hands or so so I'd have to run at 75ptbb/100 to have a shot.

btw i emailed party again about that lame DP abuse and got a better reply ; they said they had insufficient proof that villain was a chronic abuser but that he had been warned...

Everyone should post 1st week results on the 16th, so we can have a P&L summary and rankings.

Why not post results tonight instead, and do it weekly on sundays? Also, what are P&L summaries/rankings?

    Sweet Jesus.

Cocco_Bill just sent me his May results thus far. I told him he should play in the challenge and he ***coughs*** politely declined (or was just too lazy! ).

Some of this is nl800 and nl1k.

    But still :

Did I mention this is all since May 1st?

I'm not sure if this is depressing or uplifting. Prob a bit of both.

    P&L = profit/loss for each player

rankings = 1st:Alexos up $20k, 2nd:Sauce up 2k, etc...once we get all the weekly results from each player

I dont care at all whether we do it on Sundays weekly, but we should do it.

    MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH!

Ran into boats with trips/top kicker twice today, 5-bet shoved AK into AA for 150BBs preflop, and couldn't stop bluffing the calling station. Also one of my QQ's got folded preflop (don't know if I timed out or misclicked), but not the one when a 1/3 buyin dude open-complete/3-bet KK AI from the SB against my BB. Somehow I only ended down one buyin at 600NL and one at 400NL, and I managed to quit before tilt had a chance to set in.

Tomorrow I'm going on a road trip to Sweden to get some cheap beer and stuff, and then I'm gonna celebrate the norwegian independence day. Looking forward to a day or two off .
  37. #112
    Woooooowwwww

I felt like tilting today and dropped 2.2k in less than 1k hands. I could of made like 5k back if I stayed since my image was total trailor trash

all of a sudden this sounds like a golf tournament where Tiger shoots 75 in the 1st round and everybody' s "whee we gonna maybe WIN for once!..."

Then everyone shoots 80 in round 2.

Standard (insert screenshot of Sauce making 15k in 1 session...).

Villain is 68/11. The turn is close to a fold but he just sucked too much to give him credit for a monster. He was bad-aggro enough that I figured Jx was a large part of his turn range. I was most worried about a turned 2 pair :

Turn I can either check or make a “commit-myself” type bet. River was a great card to get villain to fold 99/JJ/QQ (granted he’s rarely folding after calling turn) :

Take that, add 1 really really thin call in a reraised pot (w AK high vs a flopped flush), AK losing 3 AI’s preflop to QQ and VOILA! - 3.6k in 400 hands.

    Gogogogo upswing.

re : river 89 hand? What was I doing?

I guess there's no way in hell anyone ever folds JJ/QQ by the time we get to the river. I only have to get villain to fold about 40% of the time for it to be a profitable bet!

    Yeah. I spewed .

maybe this would be better in the SHNL forum but I've thought a lot about the turn spot in the 8s9s hand and I think it s a really intersting spot.

I really really didn t want to get off of my hand

but betting smaller would ve set up a much juicier river shove.

checking makes it too easy for him to get off easy with 10x, 99-type hands...

I think CR ai might be sexy... but not too sure how much credit ppl give to dbl check-raises.

    !!!

I like hand 2 better than hand 1.

I think I see your thought process in hand 1 (big gutter + FD that made it on river) but I think you have him set-over-set enough to profitably push.

    on the KTs hand?
What shoves the flop ever that's not a bluff or an FD?

But dude the hand is horrid because im 50% aginst a fd and there are some FD's beating me, also there are some pure bluffs beating me, and this is sometimes AK/AQ.

    No hindsight for the blind.
I agree, especially with the first one. The other one is a bit closer, but he's probably sticking it in on the flop with sets, right? He probably has pair+ draw that picked up trips enough to not lay down, and besides, I have an out to the SF if he does have me beat.

    Nice rebluff, yeti theorem etc.

isf, shitty luck. i can relate somewhat with all the beats i've gotten lately. taking small breaks helped me some.

but for the most part this was a good week for me. i'm just about back to even after being down 4k last week.

here's a wild hand i just played, prob spewy...trying to get Ax to fold, since it seemed obvious neither of us had more than Ax...til i c/r...
reads - villain is tag, i think a protoge of taylor caby (ezTheKid, in a few CR videos), 3bets a lot, almost sure he put me on TT-QQ b4 the c/r.
fwiw lately i sometimes play set/99 like this against aggros, but not sure villain would think that's possible.

    Ultimate Bet

    CO: $95.30
    Button: $585.50
    SB: $769.30
    BB: $160.20

    Pre-flop: (5 players) Hero is UTG with Q Q
Hero raises to $14, CO calls, Button raises to $66, 2 folds, Hero calls, CO folds.

    Flop: 8 6 5 ($152, 2 players)
    Hero checks, Button checks.

    Turn: 7 ($152, 2 players)
    Hero checks, Button checks.

    River: A ($152, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $134, Hero raises all-in $824.5 (insta push for added effect) ...$386 to call, results in white

    Button folds.
Uncalled bets: $690.5 returned to Hero.

    Results:

hmmmm he has Ax there almost 100% of the time, nice play.

    here was another fun hand.
villain is a floating over-aggro donk, i was playing tag kinda aggro...
he insta called the turn with J6o (i must have AK i guess) and i actually hold up. the games are still good!!

I've got to try more c/r river bluffs. Most at low stakes never do thin value so it's tough to find good spots.
