Grindcore is back, this time with vengeance. So there will be no emo rants, no bullshit, just some nice hand histories, cool spots, etc, and some good metal music. Also some grindcore for those long grinds (notice the irony ).
Games of choice:
- Hyperturbo HUSNGs (that is still my primary game).
- NL cash FR and 6m (on this new site I'm blatantly advertising in my signature, it just started today and there's like craploads of fish)
Thats about it, off to grind, no time to waste.

A interesting hand from today. A victim is opening 80% from the button, probably even making it profitable to shove over him. Now, when he calls a 3bet, his range is very narrow there, unless he is a total monkey. There shouldn't be junk in his range, there also shouldn't be any aces or pocket pairs because he would most likely reshove those. His range therefore mostly consists of broadway cards.
So, when the flop comes like this one, check/calling seemed like best option. Also, both 8 and 9 seem like viable outs, because he shouldn't have any 8, 9 or 4 in his range. Maaaaaybe T9, J9, Q9, K9. So once he checks turn, it is very transparent that he is trying to get a free card. River is actually one of the best cards we could get. There shouldn't be any 4 in his range, so the presence of 4 card straight draw is giving us huge amounts of fold equity. Jams river. Gives money won to those in need. Or liquor store. Whichever comes first.

What's so awesome about being a maniac? Nope, let me rephrase, whats so awesome about having an image as a maniac? Its pretty obvious; people see you do crazy stuff, and that pushes them out of their comfort zone and therefore, they make mistakes. Some for example, tighten up considerably and become transparent, making game super easy for you.
And what is so awesome about QTo? The awesome thing is that it actually has slightly more equity vs mid small pocket pairs (22-99), then KQo or KJo. Sure, it doesn't do that well vs Ax (only 40% equity), but its a great card to go bonkers with when you are trying to provoke your victim. And its greatest value is that it makes you way more spewy then you actually are and hammering a real nice foundation for your future bets. Your villain 3xes or openjams small pairs? Bring your QTo in action anytime. Or its even more awesome friend JTo.
