I'll post them by Saturday every week at minimum. Probably will just stick to the minimum 3 a week for a week (or 4) until I get back into the swing of things.

I'm playing 4-6 at a time, usually 6 so it's probably going to take a bit for me to get to 10k. If I stick to my schedule of 14 hours a week minimum, I'll post my first one in ~2 weeks.

Just finished a very satisfying 4 tabling session. Tables FILLED w/ spewtarded morans that wanted to donate to the dranger Fund.

Think I'm going to start doing one session 6 tabling (afternoon/evening sessions, possibly 8 on Friday thru Sunday for weekend warriors) and 4 tabling an hour long session in the am. Got to take a TON of notes on the reg feeshes (lol regs at 4nl amirite) and was able to follow action VERY easily on all tables. I struggle with this on occasion w/ 6+, something I need to work on.

As a result, tagged 4 or 5 hands for review so will def meet the 'quota' this week.

Alright, so I haven't played a hand of poker in 5 days. Reason being....

I'M GOING TO A FATHER!!!1!!1!!!!1!!!

A girl I seen off an on last fall called me the other night at work and informed me of the impending birth of my first child in 4 months. I've been at her place talking to her about what we're going to do, etc. I've also been celebrating with friends, breaking the news to my family, and spending my hours contemplating what I have to do to prepare for this massive life changing event. It's insane how protective of her and the little one growing in her I am already.

Needless to say, I'm scared, excited, depressed, ecstatic, etc all rolled into one and I've been an emotional ball of gay the last 5 days. Feels like one day I'm bursting with pride an excitement the next I'm crying my eyes out due to fear and anxiety over the massive changes that are imminent.

The girl in question and myself have agreed we're going to keep the baby and are going to try to have a relationship for the baby's sake. Spent the last few days with her and I don't think it will be too much of a problem. She's really pretty (awesome for my own personal happiness) and seems to find me attractive for whatever reason and her personality isn't wtf (yet).

Not sure how much I'm going to be able to play poker in the next week or two, but I'll keep this updated as new information comes along.

congrats on the fatherhood,kids bring a whole new dimension to your life. it doesn't seem long since my eldest was born but he started school in september . you are in the elation stage at he moment , but first 6 months are pretty tough,they eat shit and cry and your sleep schedules will get all out of whack, leading to tiredness and crankiness.We were lucky in that ours pretty much slept through the night from fairly early on , but you always hear the horror stories of the kids that don't .
Make sure you make a real effort in the next couple of months to actually sort out a relationship with the mother as once the kid comes along and the tiredness sets in ,without a strong relationship to fall back on it will be easy to get into arguments and resentment. Babies seem to have an inate ability to cry and make life difficult when theres stress or tension around them.

I'm more than willing to have a relationship with her. If it ends up not happening, it's because it was her choice not to. I'm a product of a broken home and I remember what it was like as a kid not knowing what it was like not knowing where my dad was and wondering if he cared about me. I will never do that to any child of mine.

Alright so, fucking crazy shit been going on lately.

Found out about 10 days ago I was going to be a dad. 2 days later stepdad's mom goes into the hospital (she's been in and out for the past 2 years), passes away 2 days after that. Get sick with the flu the next day, get out over that the same day of the funeral, come down with a cold the next day. Found out that day that the baby probably isn't going to make it full term due to some complications in the pregnancy. Found out an hour ago she's been rushed to the hospital with labor pains, and in all likelihood will lose the baby tonight. I won't be able to make it up to see her til tomorrow morning due to work. What. A. Fucking. Week. (and a half)

Sorry I've lost track of the blog already and when I get posting again I'll have new goals anyways (loldrangeraments). Stay tuned.

Alright, got that shit behind me for now. Time to get this thang back on track. I'm heading in a new direction with my poker playing (surprise, surprise). FR just really really bores me now and I spew like a fucking monkey at 6max. That leaves the only other game I've dabbled in (other than plo):

I'd like to average 10 a day for the first month. I'll be playing the $6 turbos on Merge. Bikes has a decent bit of experience in these so I'm taking on multiple coaching sessions from him in the coming months.

Pretty rough getting started out, tho today has been much better. I've had some runbad, but I've also tilted/meh fuck it'd more than a couple games away.

I'll probably switch to reg speeds when I move up. They don't have them below the $10.50s (wtf?). I prefer reg speeds because I suck at end game and would rather stack the faggot at 15/30 blinds instead of shove-festing at 50/100.

So yeeaahhhhh. I'll post the occasional hand, dunno if I'll have a set goal per week or anything because thats going to be doomed to fail. I have a few resources at my disposal already and I will make goals on what I plan to learn and comment on how that's going. Will probably also have my uber tilted days where I rant and rave, so stay tuned!

Fuck. Just had a good sized couple paragraphs typed up and somehow closed the window on accident.

In short:
- Playing lots of games, 53 so far on the month. Should smoke my 250 game goal.
- Have been reviewing some games on Universal Hand Replayer. This program is awesome for SNG/Tournament use.
- Have been tilting a bit due to some run bad, but I take a break after the match I started tilting. Get a glass of water, stretch, play with dogs and then get right back on the horse and maintain taking notes on every villain.

In short, pretty happy with the way things are going despite losing my ass. Can only get better!

Headed to bed, then dinner with Pops. Goals for this weekend (no work, don't feel like going out) are 50 games, review at least 5 games. Take notes and adjust ldo.

Played 34 games from Friday thru this morning at 2am. Really not feeling it today. Very tired and have a headache/upset stomach/etc. So probably not going to be able to round out the 50. Pretty pleased w/ my production the last two days though. Definitely think I could get it done if I forced myself to do it today, but I'm pretty sure that would ensure me playing my F- game.

I haven't reviewed any games yet this weekend, so I'll review some after I wake up from my nap.

Starting this week (monday), I'm going to make Monday and Tuesday my light playing/heavy study days and then slowly ramp up the # of games I play Wednesday thru Sunday, peaking on Friday and Saturday. This is mostly due to weekend warriors (god bless them) and to help me avoid burnout. Also gives me some structure so I HAVE to review my games instead of 'naw dawg, just running bad.'

I suck at poker, and therefore should study. A lot. On that note, bikes will be coaching me pretty consistently over the next two months. Pretty excited about that, since he's going to rip my HU game apart. This will hopefully allow me to get to the $50s/$100s by the end of the year. Which would be fkn AWESOME.
