Okay, I guess for starters are the Cake and 888 "banners" or whatever they are. They're friggin awful.

Second, the rejigged drop-down nav doesn't include all the forums. It should or it shouldn't be there.

Third, the 'western' color scheme looks incredibly dated now. It doesn't do the advertisers any favours either, cause it makes their ads look crappy.

All of this, but he's missing one thing, this site seriously lacks visual balance. Like badly.

Still not clear on why the left nav was removed. This site is harder to get around now. I totally didn't realize so many forums were missing from the drop down. Shows how little I leave the community. But Warpe's right, every single one of them should be in there. And look at your Poker Rooms drop down, the text is running right into the border. Also, Poker Download runs into its arrow. Widen it out and you can say Poker Downloads and sound like English is this site's first language.

I'm not sure what it is about the drop downs but I don't like the way they look. Like I mentioned in another thread, fixing the lines heights will help. The space between the title text lines is too much, maybe a line height of 14px would help. And widen out the content of the drop down area. It seems so oddly narrow when you keep it the same width as the tabs. Up the content links font size to 12px and that makes a world of difference. Their line height at 13px helps too. And bump the top/bottom padding of the links in the drop down to 5px.

Also don't like the site width making use of the full screen. It works on some sites but not on forums. There's a reason magazines break up their text into columns, it's uncomfortable for people to have to read such wide text areas.

Also, if you're gonna change the color scheme of the buttons, you gotta change the color scheme of the entire site.

I still love that the forum takes up the entire browser window. I never used the left-side stuff, and just make things more cluttered for me. I get that it's not always desirable for the text to be extended across the entire monitor, but I rarely have my browser maximized, so it's perfect for me.

The #1 reason I like the new setup is that when I'm logged on with my phone it's actually relatively usable, and nowhere near as hideous as the mobile style view.

If this is changed, please allow an option to keep this layout.

I like it better this way, although I notice my eyes are automatically positioned to start reading FTR posts further to the right, and this confuses my brain for a bit of a second each time I come here.

Yes, thank u thank u for the feedback, keep it coming.
Couple things - we have several tools (we see what people click on etc) and some expert assistance helping us out, but ur feedback is just as important.
The hand converter will be addressed, we've gotten multiple signals on that.
We're reviewing the fixed width issue but either way the left nav is gone for now for exactly the reasons Hawk mentions - mobile and simplicity.

LOL I just noticed that when I click Poker Download, it becomes Poker Downloads. Are we using two top-navs?

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.
