rudeness in FTR buyin from 11/30

first i should say im not a regular poster here, mainly because im a moderator on another forum and i dont get a chance to get around as much as i would like. however, last night while playing in the FTR buyin on pokerstars, i ran across a bit of rudness. one player felt it was ok to curse after losing a hand. not really thinking, i told them to zip it. no place for that in here. he/she told me they would say what they wanted to. we bantered back and forth a bit, and it was mostly civil, but i guess i said something he/she took offense to, as they chose to call me a name that stars censored. tbh, i cant say it offended me personally, but i know there was at least one lady at the table, and besides that, its just not appropriate imo. i can provide the pokerstars name of this person, but i dont want to post in the forum. ty for taking the time to read this.

If someone like you who has neve posted here is able to play in the FTR game, what makes you think FTR would be able to do anything about some guy saying a "bad" word in Chat on a poker site? Grow some balls and learn to let it go, stop being a snitch. Did you get beat up a lot in middle school?

it was a buyin game bud, not a freeroll. and i dont think anyone should have to tolerate this in any game. i know im doing the right thing regardless of your personal opinion of me. i dont know what i expected FTR to do about it, im just passing on the information. based on your response, its no wonder that my pointing out a rude player in your game is not just ignored, but ridiculed. so what i gather from your response is, abuse and foul language at the tables is tolerated unless the member reporting it is a regular poster. good call!

We don't moderate the chat etiquette in our tournaments, ythelongface. That's between the players involved and censorship is up to the poker rooms hosting them.

We don't have time to chaperone all these events. You are all adults who should be able to deal with these things on your own or with the poker room, if it bothers you that much.
