First, let me say that FTR is an AWESOME site.
I have lurked around the forums for about a week now and been reading a lot of the posts about strategy and how to play. I can say that my play is far, far better thanks to all the good advice.
I wan't sure where to post simply to say Hello, but since I wanted to give props, I thought Feedback was the best forum. Maybe a "Welcome To FTR" forum for newbies to post their first post and tell a little about themselves.
Personally, I'm a "geek" and love technology, and find poker a nice hobby that has nothing to do with my love of programming/technology.
As time permits, I hope to join in with many of the discussions going on here as I find many of them hit home with me and my experiences in poker.

Thanks Kevin and welcome to FTR! I used to be an Oracle Database programmer, but that wasn't challenging so I moved on to programming in...
