Just shortly after opera mobile came out for the iphone 
The original site was very fast with opera mobile as well - not so much on safari, but the mobile version is even better.

Okay, there is now a drop down box at the bottom of the forum where you can select between Default or Mobile when you're on your phone. Just tested and it worked well on my iPod.

FTR's mobile site is possibly the ugliest site since the early years of the internet. It's not just visuals though, it's actually hard to use with everything as bunched as it is and hard to differentiate between things. It's so bad that I use the much slower desktop version.
Any plans on styling it up?

Sorry, Gala, I didn't see your question. We got bikes in the house now so these delays should not happen.
As far as the mobile board, it really isn't near the top of our priorities. Do you have a smart phone? I visit FTR on my phone and just use the standard view and it loads fine. Do you use the mobile theme because of the load time or something else?
That being said, I will see if there is a quick template that can be applied to it to make it look better.
