I've tried looking around for what these are..
Earned Credit Points
Credit Points earned by participating in the forum discussion (9999.99 max).
What are they used for?

At this point, nothing. However, we may do something with them later.
Currently, you get 0.5 credits for starting a new topic and 0.1 credits for rating a topic.

how bout moving the .5 to "starting a topic that GETS rated?" that way we weed out all the BS just starting topics for points.
oh, and put a feature on the rating system that wont allow you to rate a topic YOU started.

That's not a feature of this mod and would be trickier to program. We'll address this if it becomes a problem. The points aren't advertised when rating or posting, so it shouldn't be a big issue.
