didn't know if this belonged in the commune or here, so feel free to move it as you see fit.
i think that in December of each year we should give out awards (called the Floppies or something) for things like POTY and poker-related article or post of the year and best poster overall and best sig and best avatar and so forth. just have a thread in the commune asking for nominations and then start a poll thread to vote for the finalists. it would prolly take like all of december to do, but it'd be pretty self run and wouldn't be a whole lot of work for any one person (maybe collecting the best nominations into a poll thread would be the hardest part, but hell i'll do that).
i think it'd make for a pretty lively commune for the month of december and a fun little thing to have bragging rights about
