I just wanted to post a little success story and give some credit to this community. Thanks to the informative topics covered here on FTR as well as the books you've recommended, I can now declare myself a winning online poker player.

I have been playing a lot of online poker over the last month, all play money and freeroll tournaments. But starting one week ago today, I deposited my initial $25 into Ultimate Bet and today I just broke the $100 mark.

I feel pretty good about it considering a month ago I had almost no idea how to play (beyond what I watched on TV).

So as a newcomer slowly making my way into higher stakes, I thank you for your help. I hope everyone here continues to make this a great poker community and I hope I will have my own thoughts to add at some point along the way.
