is there anyway an option can be added where you can see who voted for what in polls? i think this would be cooler and better for discussions.

Same reason why no one at the polls knows who you're voting for President.

when voting for president, it doesn't matter exactly who votes for which candidate because everyone's opinion is weighted the same. on this forum, i dont think this is true, especially (and for what i had in mind) talking about hands.

also, the anonymity of political polls is not needed here because we shouldnt have to protect our voters from anything.

I'm curious about what you had in mind.

Honestly, though, unless I go seek and implement yet another mod (that may or may not exist), this option is not available.

You could always ask in your poll that voters reply with which they are voting for.
