WTF are you afraid of? Raise the turn. Call the river.

OK maybe sometimes I play a bit over cautious and I've been running into a fair few higher FH's lately so I'm looking to try and sniff them out and this is one of them occasions.

He was being very agg at the flop so I decided on just call down (passive I know and something I very veyr rarely resort to) hopefully seeing a showdown for a reasonable price...

with his limp UTG (and his bet-re-raising at the flop) i put him on:

AQ, AJ, QJ, TJ, KJ

now limping UTG i think AQ is unlikely KJ is unlikely seeing as thats what I hold..

so narrowed to QJ, AJ, JT are likely holdings?

therefore I thought this would be a split pot, or I'm possibly beat. Id invested about $5 therefore I was afraid of all of these hands... I had to call $15 to meet his allin, so Im having to call $15 after only investing $5.

Do you really think its a simple call, would you hardly ever fold this!?

only hand that beats you is 55 and QQ, its a very easy call.... raise the turn, too, and i actually might even raise the river (prolly unncessary)... i'd be 100% willing to get all my chips in there, even with a 500BB stack.

Don't push. It's most likely a split pot or a loss, so pushing will do nothing for you. I dunno stack sizes though, so his river bet might be a push.

his river bet is a push, i started with $20 (max)

Results!

> SinkRox chop
> SinkRox went all-in for $15.10
> Extra chips returned to jasonM, $6.90
> jasonM shows a Full House, Jacks full of Queens
(J¨J§JªQ©Q§)
> jasonM wins $38.60 with a Full House, Jacks full of Queens

I had spotted JQ would whoop me but I put him on AQ or more likely AJ. Thats the last time I type 'chop' - i felt pretty stupid! Cheers for input guys, guess there was only one likely holding here to beat me (JQ, not so much 55 or QQ) and I was pretty unlucky to run into it.
