i lost all but 2.40 of my bankroll in the last three days due to some really really rough stuff so i decided after a long break that would do the best i can with the 2.40...

so i join a .05/.10 table on FTP and an hour later it was 44 bucks...i was happy beyond my wildest dreams because i haven't won like that in a long long time...then i found the best table ever......

avg pot size was 18.53 dollars...it was so sweet...i joined the table and it was soooooo looooose...ohhh lordd...some dude called my 80x BB raise (or 8 bucks..but it sounded a lot better 80x) with 87os...glad he didn't outdraw me..but this is going to be so awesome...

You should now remember how you got down to $2.40 in the first place.

Quite the swings. I go through these sometimes too. It sucks and I'm sure some people will disagree, but when you get up that much, the best thing to do is just take the money and run. I don't care if the table still seems the same, I've been bitten too many times. Maybe getting up that much causes you to loosen up or something, but IMO it's best to just get out and enjoy the winnings for a day.

Try to focus on the positive I guess:

When your wife says, "Now if I were as lesbian...", while looking at Jennifer Garner, wouldn't she be your favorite actress too?

I once turned 84 cents into $90 on Pacific. Then I cashed out because the site is brutal.

I think this post and our action is a huge cry for help with bankroll management. I've been there. I was once down to $5 and luckily somehow came back. I think it is extremely lucky that i'm still playing now because I probably would have quit if I had lost that $5. I wasn't knowledgable about poker and still saw it as gambling. Then I found FTR. It looks like you, just like me, need help. Read that link posted above like you're reading a religious document. It is the single most important thing you can learn in poker. You can be the best card player in the world and still be a losing poker player. If I haven't scared you enough, talk to rippy. He has some bankroll ghost stories for you.

I think he means the software itself is brutal (i.e. ugly and hard to look at, no ability to play more than one table).
