Ok im playing at donk stakes at stars... It is 10NL blinds are 2c 5c and im holding KK... someone throws out a 60 cent raise.. thats 12x BB i have position on him and do i reraise here or just push all in?? he has 6 dollars i have 10 everyone else folds... i just pushed all in here and he calls and shows aces. I could have raised him 3x bet but he will call with any hand and im going to the end all in either way.. i think i extract more money just raising with this hand and hoping i have his range beat more often then not... but usually turns out i dont always face aces when i have kings like half the time when i raise their bet.

I shoved AA and got called by 44 yesterday at NL10. You can't fold KK at these stakes. Your turn will come soon.

i folded KK to AA once a loooooong time ago. i was 1000% sure nobody 5bets all-in w/o AA. so, i folded.
he showed me QT. i never folded KK again.

i folded KK twice so far (both at NL25). Both i was up against AA (AllIn with another player anyway). There are definately spots to fold KK. Very rare but they exist. Just depends on reads and preflop action. "Never fold KK preflop" is just so wrong.

I read somewhere (Doyle, I think said it) that more players have gone broke with KK than any other hand. Even the pros have trouble laying it down. I think I read that in the 2005 WSOP that the most common holding for pros who busted out before they were in the money was KK. I might get away from KK after an all-in shove and an all-in call, if both were deep stacks and decent players at NL10. But about 99.9% of the time I am calling shoves with KK. Hey, I've still got 2 outs and 5 cards to come!! And I'm probably ahead.

I think a better way to respond to this OP is to try and get him to maximize the value of his hand vs. what opp can have.
If your opponents are making 12xBB raises and calling pushes with less than AA a lot of the time, then you played it well, move on. If they aren't then you probably lost some value vs. AK/TT/JJ (and, considering the stakes, also JT/22+/67s+K4+, etc.). Don't be afraid of playing postflop with KK, especially in position.
Just 3-bet a standard amount and then value bet the hell out of them postflop with the overpair. Again, unless they are likely to call a push with lesser hands, then just push. At these stakes, do not be afraid of playing for stacks postflop with the overpair.
