This is a really stupid question but what is the winning hand from these

Player 1 10 10
Player 2 K K

flop 2 4 4

Turn 10

River 4

Player 1 10sfull 4s
Player 2 4s full ks
which is best???

Player 1. Whoever has the higher 3 of a kind wins (and if that's the same, then whoever has the higher pair).

tens full of fours
beats
fours full of kings.

What's truly painful is a situation where:

player 1 has 22
player 2 has AA

board of 42K rainbow. Player 1 pushes and player 2 calls.
Turn: K
River: K

Player 1 was ahead on the flop with a set of twos, still ahead on the turn with a full house twos full of kings, but loses on the river with kings full of twos versus player 2's kings full of aces.

obvioulsy, AA is behind here, but prolly thinks he is good.

now watch this, since you asked the question and had a spot of trouble with the last one...

who wins when the fourth 8 hits the river?

i've seen people miss this one, rare as it is, twice in the past week. fortunately, i was the benefactor here both times.

some newer guys fail to see their TT just got counterfieted off. and my AA now have the nuts.
LHE is a game where your skill keeps you breakeven until you hit your rush of random BS.

Nothing beats flopping quads while dropping a duece!
