personally I just fold in these spots. it's really not worth calling just to see your TPWK getting crushed by a set or over pair.. you lose nothing by folding
Villain could just be spewing, but what's best case? He has A9 or some random 9x that has you beat anyway??

snap call the shortstack, not the initial bettor, short stack is probably not limping A9, and he's doing this also with ace high and many 8's in his range that I beat

His range is so wide but there's not much that you beat except random draws and bluffs and maybe 8x. IDK. Off the top of my head, you'd need ~50% equity to make this call. Without actually crunching the numbers, I'd say your equity is ~40%. You're welcome to do the math though.

Meh, its actually a pretty interesting spot. SB needs to be FOS only a little bit in order to give us the needed breakeven equity to call him (assuming CO isnt here). Like, even if his range is mostly 9x, two pair, sets, and oesds, he only needs to have a few combos of other bs random hands for us to get there. Its certainly not a snap call by any means though, as how often hes FOS and how many 9x's you can really expect will heavily change our decision.

This basically comes down to how well you know the sb and co's tendancies. If you feel the CO is likely to fold now and sb is fos alot (based on how the table has played...not based on how most ss-ers play) then i lean towards calling. Otherwise i probably fold and not think much of it.

Im not sure i get the flop check though if we're considering callign in the first place. If we think we're really that strong against both players ranges i cant see why i wouldnt want to be betting instead, if only to make it so playing oop might be easier.

Interesting spot. I disagree with anyone who thinks this is any easy fold or call. Not sure what the best play is here, I don't think either is much better than the other. Flatting may look really strong to the initial bettor, but I don't know.

snap fold. Call if HU but it is obviously close then and folding wouldn't be a big mistake.
