I been playing on PartyPoker for some times now. I have been following the ABC poker guideline and is doing pretty well there.

but something i notice on party's 25nl is that some people constantly betting the minimum after the flop. I can understand if the pot size is small. but i am seeing ppl betting and min raising after the flop with 25 cents. even in pots like $5 and up and even funnier after a reraise war pre-flop.

Ok, here is the question, is there something to this strategy that i don't know off? or this is just fishy play that i can ignore? i mean betting the min with the best hand is like giving a free card isn't it? only reason i can think of behind this is that many ppl will see this min bet that yell "please reraise me" and do exactly that. other than that, i just don't see a point of doing this, cause this move achieve nothing at all.

do u guys notice this? your opinion on this?

I just put it down to fishy play and ignore it. Watch his showdowns and try to reconstruct what happened and get an idea of what he was doing. Then you can alter your play accordingly.

Some people are too fucking stupid to realize that they can alter the size of the bet. They just look over and see the raise button and click it, thinking that it shows strength by raising.

I do this so for a couple reasons:
1. The main reason is to act like a fish.
2. To mix up my betting so nobody knows what I'm doing.
3. On a scare flop when I don't have it or have 2nd highest pair, you actually get folds from people who think you are slowplaying.
4. When I hit a hand (2 pair or better) with no scare cards and it's checked around to me, I do this. Juices the pot a little and identifies who wants to still be in the hand. I usually get more aggressive on the turn.

I don't do this all the time, but playing reasons 3 and 4 against eachother keeps people off balance - whcich reason 2 sums up.
