Okay, I've been playing pokerstars for a year or so, actually made money by playing satellites and then selling the tournament dollars, never the less I love playing multi table tournaments, but getting really PO'ed about beating out 1500 people and either not getting anything or getting like 20 bucks for four hours work LOL - so I'm going to put money in a few of these sites, just wondering if anyone had any advice as to which ones
Party Poker (free SNG SHark with $50 deposit)
Titan Poker (seem to have a good bonus structure w/not so many people)
Hollywood Poker (I didn't like the game play that much, but like the tourney's they offer and the amount of people in them).
Pokerroom.com - this one I'm not so sure of
Okay, I DO understand that with less people there obviously will be less of a payout, but I need to try some tourney's away from Pokerstars, it seems to be fixed in some sort of way.
Any help would be great, and yes, I have read the reviews (and they were very helpful).
Thanks
Helafast

Is no one going to broach this subject or is it better to leave it alone.

Helafast,
If you haven't had the chance to yet, I definitely say give Titan a shot for many reasons which include:
Flopturnriver's players is part of the weekly Sunday night $250 free roll where every Sunday at 6 pm you get into a 6 pm private free roll competing against players from 25 other sites and there is no password , just need to have a real account from flopturnriver at least 24 hours before it starts.
Secondly, Titan just implemented downloadable hand history so you're able to see those by going to program files-->titan poker-->History-->then chose either tables/tournaments and you can see all the hands you played in the past.
Third, every month flopturnriver holds at least one $250 or more exclusive tournament only for FTR players including yourself
Four, 100% up to $500, probably one of the easiest places to earn points where 20 points is earned for every dollar in tournament fees and you get vip levels which allows you to earn them faster
I definitely recommend doing that, just put in ftriver as bonus code.

I already signed up to Titan using the code FTRIVER, haven't deposited any money yet cause I wanted to check it out. I did notice there aren't many players there and that tournaments were being cancelled because of lack of players. The bonuses seem quite good though, I will probably give it a try. It's going to be different than Stars for sure, because SNG's were going non-stop and you almost never have to wait for players to sign up. As for my thinking Star's is fixed in a way, as all of you must've noticed, when you get deep in a tournament - it seems as though the software tries to eliminate players, thats all I'm saying.

It's probably better just to leave it. He won't believe us anyway.

I will lock this topic if it becomes a ridiculous argument about how Stars is rigged.
It is not fixed. The software does not eliminate people. Case closed, no one needs to say anything else about it.

One time, when I was at bandcamp, I was deep in...
a Stars tourney and I had AA and went all-in preflop and was beat by 68os. I haven't played there since.

I have just signed up to Titan and the major problem I have with it is more geographical rather than anything else. I live on the other side of the world and when I can play (evenings) the player numbers drop below 2,000 and last night there was only 1x table in my standard game going. Makes it pretty hard to accumulate points for the bonus.

When you get deep into a tournament, there are less fish, more passive players who will eventually lose to the blinds, and tight aggressives left.
The game gets tougher, no matter where you are playing. So it isn't the software that is trying to eliminate you. IT IS THE OTHER PLAYERS.
And it sounds like they succeeded!!!

I don't play there, but I find that on the weekends people are playing poker 24 hrs non stop. Maybe just stick to the weekends and see how it goes.

One thing I was thinking about is "What happens when I push the wrong button and what are the chances of it!!!"
Just a thought, but once I called an AI cuz I was multitabling , click on the other sceen but hit "Call AI" button by accident. Actually won the hand on the river.
I haven't done this since cuz I am extra carefull now. The chances of this happening have to be around 1/10000 I would think, so ya you will see it eventually and get beat by it too.
