I know that people from around the world play online, but after trying to play at various times of day, I wanted to see what people thought about best times to play online.

I'm at EST - I have found that lunchtime seems to be pretty good because people are just killing time on lunch break. But this also means that people are just getting up on the West Coast and it is after dinner in Europe. Mornings and evenings seem to be tougher for some reason. Especially around 7pm - many many tight players.

Any ideas?

I've heard (I think from this forum somewhere) that the fish come out on PartyPoker around primetime. I haven't validated this myself, however.

Look on the main party poker screen, it will tell you how many players are playing at that time. You are shooting for 55-60k people for when its fishiest.

From personal experience the tables get looser and wilder from around 5pm-8pm EST, they are a bit tighter from 10am-4pm (day shift has more hard core multi tblers in it), notice there is an hour gap it could go either way here most fishes come home from there day job 4-6 and start playing then... the 55-60k players is a good rule of thumb really... real late at night like 2am-6am can be extremely loose, or tight depends, you get a few drunks in there on weekends round that time... you have to be careful with the 2am on shift because there towards 6amish Europeans start popping up on the sites, damn those euros…

This is kind of what I noticed different sites and different levels then what I play might vary...

On UK sites, in the UK, about 7-9pm seems to be the fishiest, and it gets tougher as you get to midnight and beyond. Makes sense - casual players come online for a few hands after dinner.
