Post subject: when to reraise on flop?

reraising post flop isnt something i do alot, and was wondering:
1. why you should do it/what is the aim.
2. when you should do it.
examples would be great.

First I want you to guess a couple reasons. I can't think for you.

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

1. obviously to get more money into the pot when you have the nuts or near nuts.
2. to gain information, if he calls or re-reraises he's got a very strong hand.
3. take away pot odds.
ive also read hh's where you've got a bit each way, when you have a strong hand, but also have a draw if the pot gets massive.

As with everything in poker it depends.
Reraise when you got the nuts/nearnuts
Reraise when you spot a c-bet and think villian will fold
Reraise when you have a strong hand but dont want people drawing on you (for example you hold KQ and the board is KdQs8d)
The logic behind reraising is pretty much the same as for raising, either you want to build a pot, take the hand right there or gain info

1. when i was pfr and the villain makes a small blocking bet or donk bet on the flop...i try to win these hands right there ...usually the villain hit the flop but is a pssy and folds to aggression .....
2.when i have a strong hand and want to build a pot
3. for information
4.deny proper pot odds

some people are confusing raising and re-raising. you probably shouldn't be re-raising people post-flop all the time unless you are awesome at reading and have good post-flop skills. lots of raising is fine although yes, it depends.
