Ok your playing No Limit poker....You have to decide on whether or not you are the type of player who is gonna push with just AA or are you gonna push with KK and AA and just pay off the AA every once in a while...I am the latter I cant even count the number of times that I have pushed with KK thinkin in my head Ill pay off AA and they end up having AK QQ JJ 1010 or AQ In my opinion I think it is more profitable over time to just say Ill pay of Aces and Play like you have the best hand...Play with strength show no mercy... When you have KK make other people think does he have AA?? First of all I would of pushed that hand preflop when you got the reraise...and after getting a beatiful flop 722 push your chips in the middle man! This is no limit poker get some balls.

Yeah, I have people pushing me around and reraising my huge raises when I have pocket Kings, after thinking for like 1.43 seconds, I call their all-in. And whammo! They have queens or jacks. Don't outthink yourself, they may play like they have aces, but to some people, jacks and queens are like aces.

im all in in a heartbeat with that small raise......AA won't risk you folding the hand to a min raise over your 1.50....that was a positional bet, with the guy knowing he wanted to lead bet the flop with the lower PP, risk of AK on the flop...He cna still bet an A,K on the flop feeling like he is coming from strength....

If he had AA there he played it well, disguised his hand.....

i'm a coward, so i'd just push them all in after his reraise. If i see the flop i might chicken out.

kings rock, good for going all in preflop especialy after a reraise like that. some folks will call with AK, QQ, JJ and wierder stuff.

Seconded. I would never ever lay that hand down with that flop.

I agree I will call in this situation 98% of the time. Things I disagree with though: Don't decide if you are the type of player who will only push with AA, decide if your opponent is that type of player.
I like your call on the flop, but I would have done it with the intention of pushing in on the turn unless the A flops. Since there are a lot of hands that people will re-raise with, and none of them should have hit that flop, against a player I didn't know, I will always call. Only when a player had shown me he won't risk his chips without the nuts, will I lay that down.
I don't like going all in before the flop, because you can almost always expect a reraiser to bet at the flop regardless of what it is. wait for his bet, then move in your stack.

some of the best advice I have ever listend to was, dont let you opponent put you to a decision, make him make the choice. I would have first off pushed preflop, so what if you take down a smaller pot, you didnt loose. I dont mind the call but a reraise would have been much better. What kinds of reads did you have on this player? To me i look at this hand and see him with 4 different types of hands. Higher pocket pair (AA,QQ,JJ, even TT), AK, or if dumb enough AQ, he might have thought your raise on the flop was BS and he had the best hand, He could have had a lower pocket pair or even the boat at this point 77 is not out of the question, or he could have had the flush draw, ive seen people push many many times to a reraise on a semi bluff people love to gamble and hit the lucky card. I dont mind your fold either if you put him on one of the three hands on the flop that could beat you with reads. The only advice i can really tell you is push preflop and make him make the choice, if he turns over AA you have 5 cards to hit your two outer, if you dont, rebuy and move on.

I agree. Sometimes you have to just gamble and let the cards fall where they may. If he had aces then there's nothing you can do about it. But it's amazing what some people consider an all in hand. As in Johnny's example above.

I mean does the small moral victory of knowing you laid down Kings to Aces (IF he had aces), outweigh not knowing if you could have took the pot?
