Read up. Play more. Play lower stakes. Please try not to be offended, but you are an extremely weak player.

Read all the posts in the beginners circle to see why betting and raising minimum is the wrong play.

In this hand you should have raised to $2 preflop (4x the big blind), and bet 2/3 the pot on the flop. The turn would have likely played differently.

usually I do not bet only minimum however on this had I had pretty much nothing untill the river and was trying to get there and a decent price because I had nothing.

You recommend betting heavy even if all you are holding is 3 d´s in this situation?

Betting minimum is almost always the worst play.

Had you raised to 2 preflop, more than likely you would have seen the flop against only one opponent. Then you make a continuation bet of 2/3 the pot, representing that you have a K in your hand. If he has you beat then he'll call or raise. If he raises you fold. If he calls you probably would bet the turn for like 1/2 the pot once you picked up your flush draw.

Again read up in the beginner's circle forum. Of particular interest in this case would be continuation betting.

Edit: Renton wins.

minbet in this case serves no value - it will not make anybody fold, it will not convince anybody you have a hand. It barely builds a pot you have no interset in building right now.
If you bet, bet like you mean it

ty to you and everyone else.

I usually bet 1 and raise 1-2 and am very agressive. However after reading the reply on these posts I started trying to keep the same agression but up the amount i put on the table.

It has been working great, now when I have something I want to play i put 2-3 down pre flop on the .25/.50 tables and when i raise i do so with a significant amount. This has lead to alot more income in small pots that I probably would have one but not having to go far at all and other pots that I did not really have any business betting that much on.

BTW I am not offended by being called a weak player. I have been playing for about a week for real money. Before that I played tj coutiers game to practice on (it is more of a poker lesson then a game).

Poker tracker rates me as a TAA under BT rules and poker trakers inate rules. I think one of my main problems is exaclty what you guys pointed out. I need to put more in the pot when i raise. This is something I did not even see, the old I know what I know, I know what I don´t know, and the I don´t know what I don´t know areas of knowledge.

Another issue I tend to have is chasing pots a bit to far, trying to work on that. There are times where I think I am beat but maybe not... those get me decently hard every once in a while.

Knowing is half the battle.
The mere fact that you are aware that you have leaks and working on fixing them is great.
Keep posting hands you have questions and issues with, it is one of the best ways to improve your game
