I've been playing micro stakes on Stars for quite awhile now and am looking to deposit on another site as well. I've heard places like Cake are pretty soft and have greaaat rakeback but I don't know how reliable the smaller sites are. I mean if they actually are pretty reliable and safe then I would do that but I'm not sure.
Anyway in general is UB or Bodog or FT better than stars in this category?
EDIT:
Yeahh..didnt see that this guy has essentially the same question but no answer yet, sorry about that:

But I am still kind of wondering how safe rooms like Cake are for me, being in the US.

I play on Sportsbook (Cake ). I haven't heard anything bad about people withdraing or anything. And no e-wallet or anything, just a CC needed.
Pretty fishy as well. I left FT and went here and haven't looked back. Software is kinda lame but the fish make up for it.

I have an account on Stars, Bodog, and Cake.
Cake is really fishy. I mean, I donk off the occasional buy-in once in a while but a lot of the players there are REALLY bad. I've railed some higher stakes games at Cake and it seems just as fishy. But really, who am I to say... I can only withdraw from the micro-fish.
Bodog has a ton of fish too. I havent played there in a while but the lowest micro-limits are $10 NL... I think, anyway. I know a lot of people like to play $2NL or $5NL when starting out.

If you are non-US the Ongame network is a gold mine.

Which room is the softest?
Hey, room A is soft!
>> nits infest room A, making room A a nitfest
Which room is the softest?
Hey, room B is soft!
>> nits infest room B, making room B a nitfest
Which room is the softest?
Hey, room C is soft!
>> nits infest room C, making room C a nitfest
Which room is the softest?
.... and it goes on and on and on...
Just find a room with heavy traffic and you'll be fine
If you cannot make profit on a room with heavy traffic, time is better spent working on your game than looking for "soft" rooms

hahha yeah...buuut assuming I CAN make a profit on room A and room B, if room A has many more less skilled players, my profits will be greater. But yeah i totally see what your saying, I was just looking to see if one was notoriously fishy. I think i'll make the new deposit on cake and go from there.

Didn't want to make a new thread, but was wondering what sites people felt were the softest to play on?

I remember playing 25NL on Full Tilt pre BF. I moved to Cake and I must say the quality of play is vastly worse. In the entire pool of players there I can count perhaps 2 who are decent. The rest are massive spazz tards. The FT regs while not great, were still much better. At the same time I've been improving so maybe part of that is perception.
