Hi guys.
I'm yet to delve into the world of poker tracker. I think it's a good future investment but for now i think it's a little too advanced and I'd rather focus more on actually playing poker.
That said, when i play on stars, i can click on stats, and it will tell me my
Saw flop in:
BB:
SB:
other positions:
total times saw flop:
Pots won at showdown:
Pots won without a showdown:
What kind of percentages would i be looking for to be playing good, TAGG poker. I know it must vary a bit, but any guideline would be great.
Thanks for any help guys.

That's where I started too. I think the most important of those stats is total saw flop. When I first started playing I was always at 30+. When I started focusing on being more selective with starting hands, I started to win more consistently. My percent would be closer to 20%. I think low-20's or lower would be necessary for a TAG player.
Pots won at showdown: if you are winning over half, that's pretty decent, but that figure shows you very little if you are winning small pots and losing big ones, or vice versa.
If you are dedicated to playing TAGGY, you should win quite a few pots with showdown.

W$WSF should be around 40%, AF on all three streets should be above 2 and AttSB% should be at least 25%. VP$P needs to be less than 22 and PFR% should be at least 2/3 of that number
These are the stats indicative off a TAGG. I am not saying these are the best stats, just TAGG stats as you asked. You won't have many problems if you reach or exceed them.

Sorry if I missed it, but didn't see if you were playing 6max or FR... This def makes a difference w/ VPIP -- all the other guidelines pretty much remain the same.
For FR (which is all I play...), your VPIP will be def lower as with more players (and many playing tight), you're going to be up against better holdings. 12/10, 14/12,15/13 (VPIP/PFR) is not horrible at FR. To get much higher than that, you're going to have to really open up in LP, and/or add a lot of suited/gapped connectors, off-suit broadway etc. that can get you into trouble unless you got good post-flop skills.

Guys, don't forget the AGG part of TAGG. Tight is not enough, you must be aggressive, or you will become weak tight, and we all love those.

Get pokertracker, more detailed stats for your money..... i am running at 20.5% volume put into pot ,with a 13.9% pre flop aggression. Which i believe is reasonable??? but with tracker you get a much more detailed insight into your own game!!
