The term Pot Control is used a lot in these forums, but it is not defined in the Poker Terms (Hint to Mods).

I'm guessing that the meaning is different depending on the context in which it's used. It probably also means different things to different players. Pot Control could mean trying to keep the pot small if you have a weak hand or it could mean bloating the pot as much as possible with the nuts.

What does it mean to you guys?

nah nah.... not different things to different peoples yo. It means:
Pot Control-To control the pot.
imo

. But srsly, it's all of the above. It just means to control the size of the pot in general. Usually it's said in refference to keeping the pot small I believe.

Tend to play big pots with big hands. Tend not to play big pots with lukewarm hands.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

but it shouldn't
it should refer to manipulating the size of the pot to reflect your perception of the relative strength of your hand
