Playing $25 4 tables on party, In first 5 minutes lost 2 and half buy ins, I had two set over set against me and then my AQ ran into AK with an Ace on flop. I then walked away so I did not tilt.

I went back half hour later and turned my $100 over 4 tables into $250 in less than an hour.

This is first time I have had major upswing and downswing like this. I usually just make a steady $10 to $30 per session. Never really losing much but never making a mint.

So how exactly is this a NLHE Strategy??

Do you have a question, or just want to rant? If so, you need to go to another section of the forum, i.e. the FTR Community, or probably more appropriately, Tales of Poker!

 Swings are part of the game dude.

Get used to them b/c as you move up and the game becomes much more aggressive the variance will really shoot through the roof.
