I know that as the blinds increase, that drawing hands beome less profitable.
1) when do you usually shift away from the 78s, Axs, 22 type hands and focus exclusively on paint / high pp?
2) which drawing hands to you still play as the blinds increase and which ones do you get rid of?
Kinda open-ended I'm just a noob at M + what types of hands to play.

Are you playing SNGs or MTTs? I'll move your post to the appropriate forum if you tell me, I think you'll get better responses there (no disrespect to the cash game players though).

i cant remember the exact calculation for M-value, although i know its simple.
but for me, i dont get impatient until i go under 10 BB's. then, i dont sit and wait for paint only. i open-push any hand i want a caller with, but feel is live. sometimes 67s (usually not), but mostly any A (for high card value when we all miss). i will also shove any broadways, pp's above 88, and into multi-way pots with hands that are soooted, but likely to hold "live" cards...like 89s.
i am more likely to play AXo when short-stacked than KQ because of the A. and i would MUCH rather wait for the opportunity to be the SHOVER than the shovee. ie, i wouldnt call an all-in with AXo as easily as i would open-shove with it.
maybe not the best strategy, but the ACE is the most important part, imo..and to be the one to initiate the shove. once you get that short, you have to rely a bit on luck, at some point...if you want to win the thing. if you only want to get back into the money, you can be a bit more patient, but not much.
hope that helps, fwiw.
