I have been playing poker for only 6 months now, and i am trying to learn how to play different situations. This situation is quite rare but i had it happen to me a few times lately.
(sorry for the bad format, this happened on bodog poker so the hand history converter doesnt work)
i am in late position. a guy raises 5xBB pre-flop, a guy calls in middle position and i call with pocket 7s
the flop comes T7T.
the first guy bets 3/4 of the pot.
second guy fold, i call.
the turn comes T.
the first guy checks, i raise 1/2 pots, he calls.
river is 3
checked to me i raise 1/2 of pot again, he reraise all-in for twice the amount of the pot. (my stack is as big as his)
i folded because any higher PP beats me.
what would you do there?
or would you play it differently?

call or raise on flop depending on circumstances.
turn seems like a really easy check behind. All pairs 88 and higher now have you crushed, along with Tx. I don't understand your river bet at all, unless it's as a bluff to move him off a bigger pair (why you'd ever try moving someone off a bigger pair on this board is beyond me, but whatever). I also don't see what the decision is when you are raised big.
Also, when you are the first person to put money into a pot on a given street, you are betting, not raising.

His AA/QQ pwns you on turn, dump it. Forget about bluffing the 7, no big pair folds that turn.

Change the rule to "No one folds a full house when he is not obviously beat".

I think the point of that rule was exactly that noone folds a full house, even if they are obviously beat.

Is my sarcasm detector malfunctioning here? You're not actually saying that we can't fold this hand because we have a full house? Are we hoping villain raised 5xBB preflop OOP w/ a pp lower than 77 and check-called that flop or what?
Check behind turn, maybe make a crying call if he bets the river and it's not too expensive. As played on flop/turn this river is a good spot for him to try a c/r with AA/KK, as we have shown aggression/strength on every street. He might have been worried about you holding a T on the flop and gone into pot control mode, but with the 3rd T out he's obviously going to try and get all his chips in with the 2nd/3rd nuts.

This is an obvious fold, I'm just repeating what the rule was. It basically goes like.. if you have an obvious overfull to your opponent, just go allin even if it's a preposterous overbet like $50 on a $10 pot. That is because a lot of people can't fold full houses, even the obviously beat ones.

I think people were making comments about how there's no reason to be putting money in on later streets unless we're trying to get the guy off a bigger pair which is very silly and not smart at all.

Fullhouse Theory applies here.
I ALWAYS go broke when I attempt stupid AA representation on tripped board.

I guess, if that is more clear.
It's basically referring to when you have the overfull (overplay it, they ain't folding probably) or when you are thinking about pushing someone off of a weak full house by representing a bigger one (this won't work, they ain't folding it).

LOL (for real, I woke up my little brother in the next room). But yeah, we would have loved to end this on the flop in hindsight, but we had no idea that the board whas gonna be this ugly (i gotta stop posting while drunk).
