This guy had 3 bet a bit from the button and I think hsi range is pretty wide so I decided to call even though this could often be a fold oop.

I was planning on C/R this flop and getting it in here if possible with alot of equity against his whole range.

The flop checks through, damn. How is turn and river as played?

could probably get away with a smaller river bet

I also like it IF u think he's capable of folding JJ or QQ or other random PPs that just don't believe your turn bet. Altho i'd fold PF pretty much always. If he was slowplaying you'd find out about it on the turn i reckon (ppl that 3bet a lot generally can't sit on their hands long enough to wait for the river). U may as well put him AI if ur gonna bet that much on the river though. There's nothing that will call $14 but won't call AI.
There's only one system. Bet. Lose. Borrow. Steal. Lose. Take the drugs. Lose. Prison. Death.

I wanted river bet to essentially be his whole stack but not a shove, so it looks like I am trying to get near max value with a nut type hand.

Any big made hand would have been betting to protect on this wet flop/and probably turn and the running 4s did not help any other draws.

I think he can fold KJ, KQ AJ, AQ, JJ and QQ here most of the time if he's not a retarded station.

I don't understand the river. This is purely a bluff right? bc we have no practical 3betting hands beat at this point. Are they ever fold JJ-QQ here? (I don't think they are) They are never folding a K, and I don't see how they're folding a T even, and what 3bet hand has a 9 in it?

I'm new, but I don't like the river bet.
Ich grolle nicht...

Yes of course its a bluff I have A high.

You don't think he is folding any of those hands? My post above says what possible, although wide 3 betting hands he could fold here IMO.

Fold PF

if you think he's going to fold QQ/JJ on the river make the smallest bet that is designed to make him do so, $14 seems too big.
