Hello everyone...
I play a lot of freerolls and manage to compete well and can usually get down to the last 50 to 100 players even if there are 1000 or more players.
Whats wrong?
I'm always at a table with players having 50K or more and there I set with 5K. With the blinds and all the money the others have I am at a serious disadvantage to the others and never manage to win any money.
I play tight and agressive with position a game modifier. I learned over and over how position and coming in from early positions with low group hands can take your money.
I've tried playing a few more low group hands from late position when no one raises but don't believe that helps.
Any ideas?

Work on trying different things to build your stack through the middle stages instead of just surviving... loosen up early if you can see the flop for cheap, steal blinds as they get bigger and work on maximizing the chips you get when believe yourself to be ahead.

i look at a freeroll somewhat like i look at the rebuy period of a tournament. after the initial rush of moron's is gone, you need to be very aggressive. if you can't double/triple/++ your stack, you're not gonna win so just save your time. freerolls are all about getting in the top top places. i've only played a couple freerolls, and i finished about 10th-20th in them. yea that 8 bucks looks good when you start, but then you realize you played for 4 hours, and its not. first couple places are all that are worth getting, and busting out costs you 0. play like it.
