What is the best poker training DVD you ever seen?
Hi to all Jeny here this is my first post! I like the site and I hope to learn a lot from you guys.
I haven't seen any thread about DVD trainings so I decide to start a new one because I'm better learning from watching than reading books so if anyone knows a good ones please share it with us. Thanks

Best poker video = any video where you get to watch a better player playing a completely different style than you're used to. Book it.

The best one is typically going to be the next one. With any luck each one you watch should add something to your game and it's a continual building process.
|
"You start the game with a full pot o’ luck and an empty pot o’ experience...
The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck."

actually just realised yours was in plural. i've only seen "WINNING STRATEGY IN NO LIMIT HOLDEM" which is good, but assumes a little bit of prior understanding

Yeah true but I guess I was just thinking that the DVDs would help them understand certain concepts like board texture/better starting hands than others/etc.

In my opinion, even though I'm a shitty 2NL player and nothing I say will probably be right, but.....

This is a very common mistake at 2NL
Bobbofito's means it belongs to Bobbofito (singular).
Bobbofitos' means it belongs to Bobbofitos (singular).
Bobbofitos is the plural of Bobbofito (singular).
DVDs is obviously plural.

If you learn better watching than reading there are instructional videos on lots of training sites. I'd buy a membership to one of those then you'd have many more options and more material than a dvd.

this is not wholly correct:
the apostrophe AFTER an "S" in a formal name can be either singular or plural. e.g.:
Ex. 1a) Any supposed hard evidence of Jesus' existence is bullshit. {Singular; correct}
because the name "Jesus" ends in an "S," it is a correct form to put the apostrophe after the "S" regardless of whether or not it is plural. It is also correct, however, to use the apostrophe-s form in this case. it's purely optional:
Ex. 1b) Jesus's "beloved" apostle, John, must've been having a really bad trip when he wrote The Book of Revalations. {Singular; Also correct!}
Where you're wrong, though, is that the s-apostrophe form with a formal name can also be plural. this is especially common when referring to a family or group:
Ex. 2a) The Smiths' beliefs are so yayjesus that it is quite lol. {Plural; correct}
Ex. 2b) The Smiths's favorite collective pastime is listening to the Glenn Beck Program--SURPRISE! {This is so retardedly incorrect. Please never do this!}
CLIFFNOTES: Bobbofitos' DVDs could refer ONE person's (whose name is Bobbofitos) series of DVDs, or it could refer to a GROUP of people named Bobbofito who make good DVDs. Either way, there are a plural amount of DVDs because there was an "S" after the "DVD" ldo.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Either this is some sort of spam and Jeny is in on it or she has become a victim of it.
In the case that you're just unaware Jeny, do yourself a favor and find a reputable coaching/training site to subscribe to and watch the multitude of VIDEOS they have on there you can stream from a laptop or load onto an iPod/iPhone.
Cheers.
