Default what is the best hand you have fold?

    four-of-a-kind aces

i got two aces and checked. i really don't raise during pre-flop. one A shows up during flop so i raised. another A shows up on the river so of course i'll raise again. i don't want to go all-in as it might make the other players fold. i really want them to call so the bet will be bigger. unfortunately while raising, i ran out of time and i got folded automatically. i suck

your turn. what is the best poker hand you've folded and why did you fold it?
how can you face the problem if the problem is your face?

You deserved it for checking aces pre flop. You timed out because God was punishing you for being a retard.

After not being in the money two separate tournaments in a row when my KK got busted twice in one day, I folded pocket queens and pocket aces to guarantee I monied in my third tourney.

With the fear that some will make fun of me, I'll tell my most embarrising Fold. It was back in the day, when poker were still kind of new to me, and playing more than one table was not as easy as it is nowadays. I had given up on a hand on one of the tables, where we were 3 players in the pot, so folded to a bet on the river. I noticed in the chat box that the two other players were making fun of me, so I went into hand history, and to my horror I saw that the board was AAAAK LOL I hanged my head in shame, not even trying to explain that I had dropped that table

I've definitely misclicked with premiums before, but if we're talking about purposely folding... then I'm sure I've folded Quads a at least a couple of times in NLHE when I couldn't beat the board with what I was holding.

How do you have quads and not beat the board? Unless the board is quads which isn't really fair.

I've folded full houses, lost straight flush < straight flush.

Yeah, I was referring to the board being quads. If we're talking about Quads+ when our hand improves the board then I don't recall ever folding anything of that nature. I'm sure I've been beaten out by a superior straight flush at one point but I'd have to go back through the million+ hands I've played over my online poker career.

Nothing comes to mind except small boats and sets when I felt like I was beat on a scary board.

I folded Aces full of Kings when it was apparent the rockiest rock in my Poker Tracker had flopped quads on me.

AA against 4 all ins behind me. I believed I raised, but i should have shoved. Its one of those hands that I really regret folding all because i let fear decide for me and let myself think that my opponent had a set or 2 pair. and others had a flush. Turned out if I played the hand I would have made it through a tournament and triple up on my stack and move forward in the tourney..

One time I wasn't catching anything for nearly 30 mins and when the blinds passed me I put on post/fold and went to smoke and come back just in time to see myself fold AA. That has happened more than once but on some I'm glad because I would have been beat and some were hands that flopped cards I would have had to call with but missed. But I have folded many small PPs pre-flop, because of the amount of the bet or raise. And most of the time I would have lost.

I've folded a pair of queens pre-flop because there was all kinds of re-raising from players who wouldn't go crazy with hands like AK.

I've never folded a pair of kings pre-flop.

Post-flop I've folded full houses when it was highly likely someone had a bigger full house.

This is all amazing. Don't think I can fold AA/KK/QQ pre-flop but I guess if I'm holding QQ and A comes up after the flop I can get away from the hand. But like I said I fold many small pairs preflop unless I can limp in and see the flop. Then if I don't make a set or 3 cards to a str8 I will fold then. Anyway most of the time when I'm holding a big pair I run into 1 or 2 other players holding a high pair and it is usually an alin preflop

I see people making bad decisions with small pairs a lot in home games. For example, they'll call a raise for 20% of their stack with 22 or 33.

I folded set of Kings, because one of my opponents raised to all-in, and with the Kh on the river it was an opportunity to he had flush because it was four cards in the same color on the table.

i chatted once with a friend and thats why lost "on time" pre flop my KK..... but it was luck, because somebody had Aces !

Pocket queens is the best hand I've folded preflop, I have folded Kings after seeing an ace on flop but have never been able to laydown Kings preflop even when they scream aces.

I folded a royal flush once and villain showed five of a kind. So sick.

*edit - lol five of a kind is a link, it actually exists. I'm trolling in case it's not obvious.
