Nros i really do believe you are good here. If he has the nuts(QJ) hes not going to raise you that much. If anything hes raising that big on a bluff

now you shove, because there is only one hand that beats you going to the river. Easiest shove of your life btw.

Actually, there are 16 hands that beat your trips. I'm drunk and you fail. Hard.

Youre ahead of any two pair and any set. It's up to you as to what villain's range might be. I call here.
Tilt is poker cancer. You catch it, you die.

unless I'm missing something only QJ beats him prior to the river. The rest are draws. No way I'd fold here.

Where did you get 16? Did you actually add up all the possible QJ suits to get that number? Considering there are 2,652 possible 2-card combinations, with only 16 out of 2,652 beating you here you're getting pretty damn good odds, no?

I must not be seeing the whole picture here.

^^^ yeah, he got his number by adding up all the possible combinations of QJ. this is the most accurate measurement in poker because things change so much when you have blockers, when they can only have QJs, etc.

so having 16 combos of a hand actually ISN'T the thinnest range ever because there are times where someone can only have sets, which is like 9 combos (sometimes it's even 6 or 9 depending on the board). so even though someone might hold ALL OF 33, 66 and TT, the fact that there are blockers to the board, paired hands are rarer than offsuit hands, etc, you actually end up wiht like half as many combos as QxJx.

anyway, still think fold turn just 'cause he might have QJ whereas he could also have all sorts of FD's, two pairs, pairs+draws, etc. seems buttfuckin' crazy

or explained a bit further , we still have 10 outs to a full house / quads to win on the river.

I can't quite figure out why he'd want to repop the turn over 4x he only had $10 in his stack so has left himself $3 behind so he's essentially committed to this pot.

I'm wondering if hes on AcQc or AcJc giving himself a combo straight/flush draw with a top pair Good kicker for showdown if you don't fold and he misses the river with his draws..

giving him a range of KK-TT,44,AKs,AcQc,AcJc,ATs,A4s,KTs+,QJs,ATo+,A4o,KTo+ ,QJo to give him his straight draws under sets flush draws etc still give you 80% equity with 1 card to come but its really hard to know if hes willing to get it all in in with some of those offsuit draws with no reads.

SInce you had no reads on him , what was your image like , have you been playing straightforward to triple up or have your opponents sen you gamble it up a bit and get lucky . if so he may be going a bit lighter or if he's seen you folding to aggression he may be trying to work you over a bit.

As said above, shove... If he has the nuts you still have more then 20% of equity.

@deucesomething btw, there are 1326 possible hand combinations not 2652...

If we say his range is really narrow {44,tt,ak,qj}, we have 50% equity. I left out KK 'cause he didn't 3-bet pre. If we include KK then our equity is 55%...

ProPokerTools.com BETA - Serious tools for serious players

Is his range very likely much wider? Yes. Do we do the "Weee i have a set of aces" dance as we get our money in? Yes. VERY TOUGH SPOT? No.

For those of you too lazy to Stove it yourselves (like me 30 seconds ago):

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 68.068% 68.07% 00.00% 1198 0.00 { AdAh }
Hand 1: 31.932% 31.93% 00.00% 562 0.00 { KK, TT, 44, AKs, ATs, KTs, QJs, AKo, ATo, KTo, QJo }

Just get it in, no offense but this hand isn't even thread worthy.

You have the second nuts, snap call, unless he's the most passive player in the existence of poker? It would only c/c/donk the nuts?

Tonnes of shit in his range that we beat, even his strong hands AK/KT/AT/TT/KK/44, I mean some of these are unlikely due to preflop but he could still be spazzing out with even worse than this. AJ/AQ/KQ some one pair hand with a gutter or even some dumb Axcc hand that turned TP+FD.
