HeyFTR crew. I have a question for you all.

I play regularly on FTP and play mostly MTT and oversize SNG's. I recently started building quite a large roll and wanted to cash out some. I am all set with FTP to have them send me checks as they have in the past. Here is my question though. Are there dangers in cashing checks from an online gaming site with all the bs with the uigea? My girlfriend works for Bank of America and says that if I try cashing checks for 5k at a time at the bank the fraud team will hold my money indefinitely. Being that I live in RI (not really sure of the gambling law here) am I risking losing my money? If so, do any of you know of a safe and proven way to make sure that I get my hard earned money without issue? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

personally i use epassporte to get my money out of full tilt. they do charge you a small fee and it takes a week or so to set up your account. there should be no problem getting checks though. i have never heard of a bank holding money of a valid check but if you are really worried about it and in no hurry to get your money, try a check for a smallish amount and see.
ndultimate.
