I don't think he's shoving the turn with a weaker Ace like AJ, but I think he's doing it a lot i think with 2 pair, as it seems quite obvious that I've got strong Ace and he wants paying. Any alternate thoughts? As I say, I have zero hands with this guy here.

Without a read to make me think otherwise, I'd say it's an easy fold. I don't see what he has that you beat and you've only put 8bb in so you are hardly pot committed. The way I see it, if he is shoving with hands you beat, you will prob be taking his money sooner or later.

You might want to edit your post to delete the results. The BC moderator gets very angry and he usually posts this link.

Would making a bigger Flop bet have saved the day?

I dont think so, .50 into .65 is solid. I think villain either hit his set or is on a straight draw on the flop. If he is only on a straight draw and puts the Hero on TPTK then he has implied pot odds to call a bigger bet. His shove on the turn is consistent with either hitting his straight or defending his set from the draw. Fold imo.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Looks like A8 to me, but it could be set, straight or other 2pr. I very much doubt it's AQ or worse. I don't think folding TPTK gets any easier than this, aside from four to a flush/straight.
