I posted this in 'online poker rooms' first, but figured this would get more views and possibly a response in 'beginner's circle'.

I went through the raketherake.com link and downloaded UltimateBet. I setup my account, validated my account and deposited into it. I'm sure at this point I was logged in, could see my balance etc. I logged off and turned off my computer for the evening.

I tried to log in the next day and the error message 'invalid player name, please try again' kept appearing. I cant understand why this was. My details were automatically in the login box so i assume it saved them from the previous day.I checked the diagnostic help in-game and my emails from UB both confirming my login name.

I honestly can't see what is wrong. I emailed support and they sent an email back (after only an hour or so I believe) saying that my email was forwarded to the relevant department, but I haven't had any contact back yet from said department (emailed thursday).
However, if I enter an incorrect password it says 'invalid password' and not 'invalid player name'. I don't know if this is helpful or related in any way but I thought I'd mention it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

Same thing happened to me 6 months or so ago and I haven't been on UB since. I even request an email for my login ID and password. A message popped up saying that it has been sent but nothing ever comes. So, I check to make sure I do not have their emails set to spam and then try again. Nothing.

Good luck. If you figure it out, let me know.

Thanks.

Apparently, after a week of emails to numerous departments, I need to send passport copy and bank statement copy to verify some security rubbish. I couldn't find this information anywhere on their website or anywhere else in fact, and never encountered this problem with pokerstars or partypoker. Has anyone else had to do this?
