Maybe,but my instinct said i had to call these cards after i had been folding for a long time.I guess my instinct sucks.

Your instinct doesn't suck, it's just looking to play. It's natural to want to play heavy on a mediocre hand if you've been getting cold hands for a while. While there are a few situations where acting the rock can pay off, in a ring game playing hands like this will cost you in the long run, so make sure you have a set standard and reference to keep you from just saying, "finally, a hand I can play!". Tournaments are a different story, sometimes you'll be shortstacked and have no choice but to move AI with a hand like that.

Two main lessons you should learn from this hand:
1. Fold T9o preflop
2. Dont ever play in the table when you are so short stacked, you practically had no leverege to push people off the pot.
No doubt that he got lucky, and I would not have made this call in his position, But that is besides the point, I doubt he would have made this call if you had another $20 that you can bet on the turn
