MP1: 14/9 NIT over 2.2k hands Button: 17/0 36 hands. Uknown. Preflop: Std. Raise Flop: This is my first mistake, this is actually a good time to C-bet even into two opponents. Buttons range is wide, while the NITs is something like AQs+ and really AQ isnt likely to be there, I know he won't 3 bet QQ here, but everything else is in his range. But most of is 22-TT. He wont' call with 22-33, but will with 66--99. He will likely drop most of his overs though I can't be 100 sure on t his. Thus. He is definitely calling me with worse, which means i need to bet. He is never folding better. Button has an even wider range which includes JQ,JT,KJ, so a bet against him isn't as needed. JJ-44,AJs,KJs,QJs,JTs,76s,AJo against that range, im 46% behind. So I can bet against nit get value you there or end up playing a big pot against an unknown button. Maybe a bet here isn't as needed. So there we go I managed to play preflop correctly. Flop sucked. WOOT turn: BET for value. Sizing is dumb. If there are going to call a 75% bet here they will call a PSB here. On the river Only hand that beats me here is qk, all other hands are very unlikely to be there, like AA or JJ. I am getting value from AJ,JT, type of hands. and maybe aAK,AQ. So when he raised me I was debating between shoving or calling. My odds are too goo to fold here, but can I value shove? | shove all the way... he's not checking with JJ and he's not calling with KQ on the turn... he's calling with AJ, J9+, maybe A4+.... the A on the river was a great card for you, cause now you can take his money | ||

| 55-44,AJs,KQs,JTs,AJo,KQo,JTo,jj if that is his river range, then I am 49% dog, however, if i remove JT from the calling range I am much more behind. Problem here is that His shove calling range may be just a bit tighter than his raising range and then I am in trouble. | ||

When I first read this I was like, "shoveling all day long here" but it's actually a lot closer than I thought. Neither is a big mistake I think, but without reads we might want to take the cautious road and call. I just can't really see JT playing like this like ever. And without that in his range, it's a call? It feels so nitty though. What has he been like in the 3 hands or so he played before post flop? Did he bet at all? Anything to go on would be useful... |

On the flop i feel like the difference between cbetting and not is negligible. Those are two pretty tight players playing against your UTG raise and there's not much you're getting called by if you cbet. I really like the way you played this. I confident the river is a call, although he may be goofing around and this could be some oddly played set or AJ, it really looks like KQ and there's a small possibility it's AA. You would have to be 51% confident that this is not KQ or AA for you to shove here, but even thats assuming that he has something you will extract value from (he could fold AJ or a low set, who knows). |

| you probably wont get a call from the nit holding 77-99 when you're repping a j/ overpairs on that flop, so flop check is fine really | ||

| after rereading, i think pot+ size bet on turn would have been better. true you can't rule out KQ and a bigger turn bet would have took him off his draw in most cases. if he's been pretty tight and seems like a decent player most likely he wouldn't chase with only the river to come. However, your smaller bet also did induce value. either way, I think you played the hand well, but deffinitly at the least a call on the river, however in this spot depending on his previous actions I would have probably shoved. | ||

| Don't loose sleep over the size of the turn bet. You're bluffing, semi-bluffing and bet/folding enough that I'm like whatever. After the flop checks through it's hard to bet/bet a huge pot here anyway. | ||
