I'm fairly new to playing for cash online, having only been going for about 2 weeks now. I feel like I've done a decent job at evaluating my play over this short time and made some improvements that have helped out a lot. I wanted to post a tourny that I played in this weekend to see if there were any additional suggestions where I might be able to improve. Although I did finish first, I'm still a firm believer that you should still evaluate how you played even when the outcome is good. As much as luck works against us when we get a bad beat, it can work just as much for us.

Welcome to FTR and congrats on the win. I have been playing mostly cash games lately, but if you don't get a reviewer in the next 24 hours I will take a look at it for you.

My guess is that Tai or one of the other SNG regs will have reviewed it for you by then.

I will note that at first glance of your early tourney play it appears that some of the LAGGY cash game play has made its way over to SNG's where those types of moves aren't usually +ev.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.

I feel like I've been doing alright so far. I've been finishing ITM around 50% of the time and this was my 5th 1st. I'm just always looking for ways to improve.

Smiley, you've got a great average if you're ITM 50% IMO. If it is working, run with it... you're beating me right now and I've been at it for months.

My fear is that I've just run into a good streak of luck and don't want to buy too much into a playing style that may be majorly flawed.
