depends on what you're trying to do. its easy peasy for partypoker. you want to set it up to import hands from _____? we can explain how to read it after that, start there.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

Go to www.pokertracker.com/forum/. EVERY question you want to know is in there. If the question you have is not in there, then just post the question and you'll normally get an answer within a few minutes.

It's a VERY easy piece of software to use, and is very use friendly, but it is complex due to the number of features it has. If you want a program where you just click "go" and it comes back and tells you what to do to turn your loss in to a profit, this is not the program for you.

Sorry to sound like I'm having a go but if you can't even set up this piece of software then god help your poker playing!

I'm trying to get it setup for Pokerstars I can't get most of my tourneys to show up

I'll try again, and again to get the hand histories and I go into poker tracker and it has 11 hands,10 unique hands.

basically I'm having an excessive amount of trouble getting the hands into Pokertracker

It's very easy to set up, but tourneys can get a little tricky.
For ring games you just need to tell it the directory of your saved hands, that will be under the poker stars directory, under a sub directory with your handle name.

For tourneys you need in addition to that to import the tournament summaries. You have to go to the request menu in the main poker stars window, and ask for tournament summaries (second or third option).
It sends you an email with the buy ins, results, start and end times, and a few other details about the tournament, which PT requires in order to show you the tourney.
You can either set PT to read those directly from your mailbox, or easier, just save the email to a file, open PT, file menu, import tournament summaries (first option I think), click browse and point it to the file you saved.
That should get you going.

Thanks much

Pokertracker seems to have alot of errors the way I import my tournement summaries,I'll try the way you mentioned.

I've loaded 25-30 tournement summaries and I get a whole bunch of errors, and I'm not getting alot of the information

Is there a way that Pokertracker can be setup to automatically load all the SNG's and tournements that I play in?

Update: I got alot more hands into Pokertracker I now have around 1600 hands...pretty cool,I can see how this is going to be useful in identifying trends(leaks)
